Abstract

Целта на настоящата студия е да представи резултатите от проведено проучване и анализ на спецификите, практиките, нормативните и методологични предпоставки и ограничения на пространственото планиране като условие за постигане на икономически растеж и устойчиво развитие. Обект на изследване е процесът по пространствено планиране и възможностите за обвързване с регионалното развитие в Р България. Предмет на изследване – нормативната методологична рамка и съществуващите модели и практика, в които се подготвят документите за планиране и програмиране на пространственото развитие. Основната изследователска теза е, че плановата дейност в РБългария се осъществява в условията на несъвършена институционална рамка, в т.ч. и нормативна, и методологична, което се отразява негативно върху процесите по интеграция, координация и субординация на пространственото и регионалното развитие. Констатациите, до които е достигнато, могат да послужат като насоки за усъвършенстване на плановия процес на национално равнище.
