Abstract

Joe Astrachan ist Professor für Management und Entrepreneurship sowie geschäftsführender Direktor des Cox Family Enterprise Center des „Coles College of Business“ an der State University in Kennesaw, Georgia, USA. Astrachan ist Herausgeber der Zeitschrift „Family Business Review“ und, selber mit Familienunternehmenshintergrund, im Verwaltungsrat von sechs Familienunternehmen. / Thomas Zellweger hat an den Universtitäten St. Gallen und Louvain (Belgien) studiert und 2006 an der HSG promoviert, mit einer Dissertation über „Risk, Return and Value in the Family Firm“. Er ist Mitglied der Geschäftsleitung des Center for Family Business der Universität St. Gallen und seit Februar 2008 Nachwuchsdozent für Betriebswirtschaftslehre mit besonderer Berücksichtigung der Familienunternehmen.
