Abstract

[ES]Introducción: Esta investigación tiene como objetivo principal determinar la viabilidad mediante un estudio de mercado y una evaluación financiera para la puesta en marcha de una fábrica de jeans. Metodología: La metodología empleada es descriptiva y se apoya en una encuesta aplicada a los consumidores potenciales, además se utilizan modelos matemáticos para la evaluación financiera. Los referentes teóricos son, la teoría de investigación de mercados y la teoría de evaluación de proyectos. Resultados: Entre los principales resultados, se evidencia que existe un mercado potencial que estaría dispuesto a comprar el producto fabricado. Además, la evaluación financiera arroja un valor presente neto positivo, una tasa interna de retorno mayor que la tasa de interés de oportunidad del proyecto y una relación costos beneficios mayor que 1, indicando la viabilidad para tomar la decisión de hacer las inversiones necesarias para la puesta en marcha de la fábrica. [EN]Introduction: The main objective of this research is to determine the feasibility through a market study and a financial evaluation for the start-up of a jeans factory. Methodology: The methodology used is descriptive and is based on a survey applied to potential consumers, in addition mathematical models are used for financial evaluation. The theoretical referents are the theory of market research and the theory of project evaluation. Results: Among the main results, it is evident that there is a potential market that would be willing to buy the manufactured product. In addition, the financial evaluation shows a positive net present value, an internal rate of return greater than the opportunity interest rate of the project and a cost-benefit ratio greater than 1, indicating the feasibility to make the decision to make the necessary investments for the start-up of the factory.
