Capacidades de inteligencia de señales en el Ejército Nacional de Colombia: brechas, desafíos y mejoras

Abstract

Ofrece un análisis sobre el estado actual y la evolución de la Inteligencia de Señales (SIGINT) en el Ejército Nacional de Colombia. Se destaca la relevancia de esta disciplina en el contexto de la seguridad nacional y la defensa, especialmente en respuesta a desafíos internos, como el narcotráfico y el terrorismo. A pesar de los avances significativos logrados, se identifican brechas tecnológicas y operativas que requieren atención para mejorar la eficacia de las operaciones militares. Realiza una comparación de las capacidades de inteligencia de señales del Ejército colombiano con las de ejércitos líderes a nivel global, en las que se observa que otros países han adoptado tecnologías avanzadas, como sistemas de interceptación más sofisticados y herramientas de inteligencia artificial, lo que resalta la necesidad de modernización en Colombia. Esta comparación pone de manifiesto la importancia de aprender de las mejores prácticas internacionales para fortalecer las capacidades locales.
