Los villanos de la globalización

Abstract

En el artículo se replantea el papel de la globalización en el desarrollo mundial, mostrando los factores y actores que limitan su accionar, en especial aquellos que controlan el poder económico, político y militar y que, gracias a ello, determinan las principales tendencias de la economía. A partir de lo anterior se identifican los responsables de que la globalización y el mercado no funcionen a favor de la mayoría los de países y de la población mundial. Se concluye que el problema de fondo no son la globalización y el mercado, en sí mismos, los causantes de los desequilibrios globales, sino el entorno socioeconómico sobre el que descansa dicho proceso. Por ello, se plantea un cambio estructural de las relaciones económicas, sociales, políticas, culturales, etc., dominantes a escala mundial.
