Abstract

En este artículo se estudia el problema ético de la industria Metalúrgica y Metalmecánica de la Región Zuliana Venezolana, atendiendo a su estructura y rasgos internos. Se realiza una evaluación de las condiciones de la industria y su relación con los miembros que conforman su estructura contrastando los valores adoptados con los practicados por las organizaciones, incursionando en el problema ético como elemento central del artículo. Se incorpora adicionalmente un pequeno análisis sobre las calificación ético-ambiental-social de la industria. Finalmente se establecen opciones estratégicas para enfrentar el problema de la ética empresarial como parte del tipo de industria sujeto a estudio, desagregando tales iniciativas desde la perspectiva de éstas, del sector y el gobierno, como factor interviniente en el proceso.
