Perspectivas de la gestión pública: investigación en la educación superior para la transformación social

Abstract

El asunto de la investigación como generación de nuevo conocimiento que reconfigura la idea de riqueza y desarrollo de un territorio es una idea que ha sufrido diversas transformaciones, especialmente en el siglo XX. Las instituciones de educación superior retoman un papel protagónico al ser las responsables de garantizar el avance de la ciencia, tecnología e innovación, posibilitando los nuevos escenarios del saber y sus dinámicas en el mundo real, donde se suscriben las problemáticas cotidianas. El presente escrito conjuga lo referido a la gestión pública, investigación, instituciones de educación superior y la transformación social desde una aproximación temática en perspectiva hermenéutica, para referirse a las relaciones y orientaciones tácitas que hoy tratan el asunto de la investigación en la educación superior. Es imperativo reconocer que uno de los principales resultados es el valor que ha adquirido y sigue adquiriendo el componente investigativo tanto para las naciones como para las instituciones de educación superior, no obstante, los recursos destinados para este propósito en países menos desarrollados o tercermundistas no es suficiente para el desarrollo y avance de esos territorios en el escenario global.
