Abstract

Resumen Este artículo presenta una breve caracterización del uso de las tecnologías de información y comunicación (TIC) para el comercio y la logística, tanto en Colombia como en Brasil, a través de la información encontrada en organismos gubernamentales y empresariales de ambos países. El artículo inicia con una somera conceptualización de la importancia de las TIC en la logística, seguida de la revisión del uso de esas tecnologías en ambos países para, finalmente, presentar unas conclusiones generales al respecto. ****** Abstract This paper presents a brief review about the use of information and communication technologies ICT for commerce and logistics in Colombia and Brazil, through the information found in governmental and commerce organizations of both countries. The article begins with a brief explanation of the importance of ICT in logistics, followed by the review of the use of ICT in Colombia and Brazil, to finally present the conclusions of this analysis.
