Capacidad de ahorro en estudiantes de educación superior. Un estudio empírico en el tecnológico de Antioquia

Abstract

Este trabajo estudia los patrones de ingresos y gastos como determinantes del ahorro en los estudiantes del Tecnológico de Antioquia, Institución Universitaria. A una muestra aleatoria estratificada de 134 alumnos de la Facultad de Ciencias Administrativas y Económicas, se les suministró un cuestionario semiestructurado donde se indagó por sus fuentes de ingresos personales, ocupación laboral, clasificación de los gastos y hábitos de ahorro, condiciones que determinan la capacidad de solvencia para garantizar una salud financiera adecuada. Los resultados muestran un panorama de la situación actual de la población universitaria en que al ahorro que persigue fundamentalmente incentivar la cultura alrededor de éste.
