La inversión extranjera directa en Colombia anos 1990 - 2009

Abstract

El presente artículo se realiza basado en el trabajo de investigación “Análisis de la inversión extranjera en Colombia anos 1990 a 2005”, pero para efecto de la realización del artículo, se hace una extrapolación al ano 2009. En Colombia se establecen dos tipos de inversión extranjera: la inversión extranjera directa (IED) y la inversión de portafolio, pero en el artículo se hace énfasis en la IED, sin considerar que la segunda, no es importante para el país. El principal hallazgo de la investigación, fue que a partir del ano 2004 las cifras estadísticas sobre la IED, muestran que ésta, ha venido a través de los anos incrementándose, lo cual, es motivado por la confianza que los países extranjeros tienen en la economía colombiana y al progreso que se ha tenido en materia de seguridad.
