Sistema de gestión financiera para proyectos sociales: El caso de las entidades de ayuda humanitaria

Abstract

El presente artículo es producto de una investigación que hace referencia a un modelo de evaluación finan-ciera para proyectos sociales. Está dirigido principalmente a entidades que buscan generar beneficios a los más necesitados, e incluye planteamientos teóricos desde la ciencia contable, hasta indicadores y medicio-nes concretas de variables tanto financieras como sociales. Para esto se hizo una revisión de la literatura desde las teorías de la contabilidad (multidimensional) y las finanzas, se caracterizó a un grupo real de varias entidades, principalmente de la ciudad de Cartagena, y se llevó a cabo un estudio de caso profundo en una de ellas. El énfasis se hizo en entidades que captan recursos vía donación, destacándose las que provienen del exterior. El estudio finaliza con el desarrollo de un software que hace operativo y aplicable el modelo, pero su descripción no se incluye en este artículo.
