Competitividad de las exportaciones del sector alimentos y bebidas en el Departamento del Atlántico, 2000 - 2014

Abstract

Este trabajo ofrece una postura sobre la participación y competitividad del sector de alimentos y bebidas en el departamento del Atlántico – Colombia. Para ello se analiza la participación y evolución comercial del sector en general durante el periodo 2000 - 2014. Con el fin de determinar la competitividad de las exportaciones se utilizan tres indicadores del comercio: Índice de Ventaja Comparativa Revelada, Balanza comercial relativa y el Índice de Intensidad Importadora. Los resultados del estudio revelan una reconfiguración del sector caracterizado por una pérdida de competitividad a partir del 2008.
