La incertidumbre de futuro y la estrategia empresarial

Abstract

Las decisiones estratégicas de las empresas están orientadas a definir las acciones que deben emprenderse para asegurar las condiciones de supervivencia, crecimiento y rentabilidad sostenida que se esperan. Tales determinaciones se crean bajo situaciones de incertidumbre, puesto que no se conocen las circunstancias de futuro del entorno empresarial. El propósito de los estudios prospectivos es identificar situaciones futuras y potenciales de negocio, para reducir las condiciones de incertidumbre con el fin de asumir las decisiones que tengan mayor posibilidad de éxito para la organización.
