Percepciones del riesgo asociadas al Complejo Volcánico Cumbal en estudiantes del municipio de Cumbal – Narino, Colombia

Abstract

El artículo de investigación explora las percepciones del riesgo asociadas al Complejo Volcánico Cumbal de estudiantes en el municipio de Cumbal. Analizando los saberes y los conocimientos ancestrales de Los Pastos, el reconocimiento del territorio como lugar sagrado, la comprensión de los fenómenos volcánicos y los acercamientos a la gestión del riesgo por parte de los estudiantes. Corresponde a una investigación cualitativa con un enfoque histórico hermenéutico; empleando entrevistas y mapa de territorio y el análisis de la información bajo el procedimiento de triangulación. Se destaca, el vínculo con la naturaleza, representándola como la fuente ancestral; el origen del pueblo por medio de narrativas orales; el territorio como un lugar sagrado, organismo vivo del cual también hacen parte; la comprensión del riesgo que implicaría una erupción y los efectos en su comunidad, territorio y ambiente.
