Diversificación y competitividad de la agricultura peruana en el comercio internacional

Abstract

La diversificación productiva es una opción que tienen los países latinoamericanos como alternativa al riesgo, que supone la producción exportable de commodities; en el caso de Perú, los minerales. Por esta razón, la competencia internacional entre países y empresas para atraer compradores e inversionistas es intensa, lo que también influye en que los países modifiquen su matriz productiva, por lo que la política económica debe estar orientada en ese sentido. Lo propuesto, en cuanto a diversificación productiva, se realizó en otros países que se consideran económicamente desarrollados y se pueden tomar como ejemplo. Los objetivos del artículo se relacionan con identificar la influencia de los commodities en la economía peruana, conocer la relación entre diversificación y competitividad, y las actividades para fortalecer la agricultura en el camino a la diversificación. Para su elaboración se consultaron libros, investigaciones y artículos, y se realizaron entrevistas a expertos relacionados con el tema.
