Emprendimiento caficultor en migrantes de la región huasteca del centro de México

Abstract

El objetivo de este artículo fue establecer los ejes y las coordenadas de significación de tres informantes: uno ambulante, otro administrativo y uno más locatario, inmersos en la comercialización del café, principal actividad económica de la región huasteca del centro de México. Se llevó a cabo un estudio exploratorio, transversal y cualitativo, con una selección intencional “bola de nieve” de tres residentes de la localidad. Los resultados muestran que los significados edificados por los tres informantes giran en torno a un ciclo de decadencia de la producción regional, pero con una prospectiva de emprendimiento e innovación en cuanto al ecoturismo como actividad central a partir de la designación de pueblo mágico. Se advierten líneas de investigación concernientes a las representaciones sociales, el núcleo histórico figurativo de migración y el emprendimiento con la finalidad de establecer escenarios de cooperación regional.
