Comercio intrarregional de los sectores autopartes y metalmecánico del departamento de Santander con los países miembro de la Alianza del Pacífico en el periodo 2012-2015

Abstract

El propósito de este artículo es presentar los aspectos más rele-vantes del comercio intrarregional de los sectores autopartes y metalmecánico del departamento de Santander, Colombia, en el periodo 2012-2015. Para ello se aplicaron los indicadores de comercio intrarregional, extrarregional y de intensidad de comercio a los capítulos arancelarios correspondientes a los sectores de autopartes y metalmecánico de dicho departamento. Como resultado, se determinó que el intercambio comercial de dichos capítulos arancelarios se presenta con países diferentes a los miembros de la Alianza del Pacífico. La metodología del artículo se basa en los indicadores otorgados por la Comisión de Estudios Económicos para América Latina y el Caribe (Cepal) para medir el dinamismo comercial, y su objetivo es mostrar el comporta-miento del comercio internacional de los sectores autopartes y metalmecánico de Santander para la generación de estrategias que impulsen el desarrollo de la región.
