Abstract

El fenómeno de globalización ha revolucionado laeconomía actual y plantea retos difíciles para obtenerventajas en su participación. El objetivo de estetrabajo es analizar dicho fenómeno, examinando susimplicaciones sobre la pobreza, el medio ambiente yla explotación de recursos humanos y los efectos enla gestión de las Micro, Pequenas y Medianas Empresas(Pymes), particularmente aquéllas localizadasen América Latina. Finalmente, se exponen algunasestrategias para enfrentar dicho proceso.
