Abstract

La Escuela Austriaca de Economía tiene sus raíces en la obra de Carl Menger (1840-1921), quien desarrolló los principios básicos del análisis marginal para explicar, desde una perspectiva subjetiva, el valor de los bienes. En el presente texto se exponen, de manera somera, algunas de las ideas seminales de Menger y algunos de los desarrollos que sus discípulos han dado a las mismas. ABSTRACTThe Austrian School of Economic Thought has its roots in the work of Carl Menger (1840-1921), who developed the basic principles of marginal analysis in order to explain, from a subjective perspective, the value of goods. This text presents, in a brief manner, some of Merger´s seminal ideas and some of the further developments that his followers have given to them.
