Abstract

Este corto ensayo presentará las principales tendencias de la distribución del ingreso en Colombia, en los últimos treinta años para las zonas urbanas y para los últimos diez años en las zonas rurales. Se expondrán las principales hipótesis que explican las tendencias de la distribución, así como el papel que han jugado el gasto y los subsidios públicos co- mo elementos compensadores de la desigualdad.
