Abstract

En el presente trabajo se propone hacer un recorrido comparativo entre los enfoques micro y macro-analítico de la Economía Institucional, a partir de la aplicación que se hace de los costos de transacción en los estudios de creación de empresa. Para esto se recurrirá a los planteamientos de Coase (1937, 1960, 1994), Williamson (1981, 1991) y North (1990, 1993), cotejando sus propuestas analíticas con respecto a algunos artículos que se han publicado en este ámbito, para dar respuesta a la pregunta: ¿Es útil aplicar el enfoque de la teoría de los costos de transacción en los estudios de creación de empresas?
