[Documento] Los objetivos de desarrollo del milenio en Bolívar: Avances y retos hacia 2015

Abstract

En el ano 2000 los 189 países miembros de las Naciones Unidas firmaron la llamada Declaración del Milenio y suscribieron un acuerdo para alcanzar ocho objetivos de desarrollo con los cuales se pretende luchar contra la pobreza, la ignorancia, la inequidad de género, la enfermedad y los danos al medio ambiente. En Colombia este proceso se adelanta desde mediados de la década anterior en algunos de los 32 departamentos y compromete al país con un conjunto de metas hacia el ano 2015 que le permitan alcanzar niveles de desarrollo humano mínimos.
