El efecto interdependencia entre Colombia y Venezuela

Abstract

Uno de los hechos que ha caracterizado a la economía mundial en las últimas décadas ha sido el creciente grado de interdependencia económica. Los estudios empíricos en este tema se enfocan básicamente en la Unión Europea y en Estados Unidos, y relativamente son pocos los realizados para los países en desarrollo. En este trabajo se hace una extensión al modelo de McCallum (1996) para obtener una primera aproximación empírica en el caso Colombia-Venezuela, al tratar de medir los efectos repercusión en estos dos países cuando se implementan decisiones de política económica.
