La historia de las áreas protegidas en Colombia, sus firmas de gobierno y las alternativas para la gobernanza1

Abstract

El artículo muestra cómo surge la estrategia de áreas protegidas en el país, en relación con los modelos de desarrollo que se proyectaron desde finales de los anos treinta y cómo se construye el Sistema Nacional de Áreas Protegidas (SINAP) un proceso que, a través de modelos subjetivos, estructuran crisis, adaptaciones y restructuraciones, según la perspectiva de Sanda Kaufman sobre sistemas socioecológicos. Para su desarrollo, se empleó el estudio de caso con análisis bibliográfico y de datos agregados. Se concluye con una serie de reflexiones sobre los avances y riesgos que enfrenta este sistema inestable que debe lograr que sus capacidades de anticipación y aprendizaje le permitan construir respuestas o adaptaciones efectivas a los cambios.
