La recuperación económica continúa en el 2004, pero, ¿si despega la economía colombiana?

Abstract

Resumen: Este artículo presenta las reflexiones del Grupo de Macroeconomía Aplicada del Centro de Investigaciones Económicas -CIE- de la Universidad de Antioquia, acerca del comportamiento económico colombiano en los primeros ocho meses de 2004. Así mismo, analiza la sostenibilidad del crecimiento económico en el 2005, a partir de los principales hechos que pueden caracterizar la coyuntura económica de mediano plazo en el país. Igualmente, como parte de los escenarios que pueden influenciar el desempeno de la economía colombiana el próximo ano, se presentan una síntesis de las posibilidades del país en el marco de unaposible firma de un tratado de libre comercio con los Estados Unidos. Finalmente, como es costumbre, presentamos un análisis de las perspectivas para el 2004 y el 2005.
