Análisis comparativo de ingresos laborales de los operarios y oficios del sector primario de Colombia, desde la perspectiva del capital humano (2009-2013)

Abstract

El objetivo del presente artículo es analizar los retornos a la educación de algunas ocupaciones y oficios del sector primario de la economía colombiana, entre el periodo 2009-2013. La metodología es de corte cuantitativo. Se utilizaron las ecuaciones mincerinas y el método de Heckman, para corregir el sesgo de selección con los datos de la Gran Encuesta Integrada de Hogares (GEIH) del DANE. La conclusión más relevante es que existe segregación salarial de género y una tendencia en los resultados de los datos, la cual senala que los retornos a la educación en estas ocupaciones y oficios escogidos, son negativos. Ello concuerda con la desaceleración de la economía colombiana en el periodo estudiado. ******* The objective of this article is to analyze education returns of some occupations in the primary sector of the Colombian economy between 2009 and 2013. A quantitative methodology was used. Mincer equations and Heckman method were used to correct the skewing of GEIH (Great Integrated Household Survey) DANE data. The main conclusions were the gender segregation and a negative trend in the results of the education returns to selected occupations, which is in line with the Colombian economy slowdown over the considered period.
