Convergencia regional en Espana, 1980-2003: eficiencia sectorial y estructura productiva

Abstract

En este trabajo se revisa y actualiza la evolución de las disparidades económicas regionales en el periodo 1980-2003, a partir de la descomposición del VABpc en productividad aparente del trabajo, empleos por habitantes, productividad aparente del capital y capitalización del empleo, identificando las posibles causas que las han determinado; igualmente se examina la influencia que la reestructuración de los sectores productivos y la productividad sectorial de las regiones han tenido en la evolución de las desigualdades económicas regionales; y por último, se estudia el impacto que la capitalización del empleo ha ejercido en la eficiencia productiva, y a través de esta, en el nivel de desarrollo económico de las comunidades autónomas espanolas.
