Hacia un modelo de emprendimiento universitario

Abstract

RESUMEN: El artículo examina algunas de las condiciones más importantes con las cuales un sistema educativo universitario de calidad, debe responder a las necesidades de la sociedad, en concordancia con las expectativas de los estudiantes, tomando en cuenta las empresas y el entorno regional. En la primera parte, se esbozan los fundamentos del emprendimiento y su relación con el desarrollo local y la Universidad; la segunda, presenta los resultados de la investigación “Competencias necesarias para desarrollar el emprendimiento en los estudiantes de la UPTC”, que dio lugar a la construcción de un modelo sustentado en el desarrollo local, que permite a los estudiantes optar por el emprendimiento de manera voluntaria y paralela con el desenvolvimiento de sus carreras, construyendo así un proyecto de vida personal y profesional.
