Las Teorías del Desarrollo Económico:algunos postulados y ensenanzas

Abstract

RESUMEN: Este artículo realiza un sencillo análisis de los conceptos teóricos elaborados alrededor de la economía del desarrollo, así como la presentación de algunos de los principales postulados y ensenanzas de las mismas para países como los de América Latina. Esta revisión se lleva a cabo a partir del estudio de los momentos específicos en donde aparecen y tienen vigencia las distintas posiciones descritas en el documento. En ese sentido se observan los aspectos fundamentales de la teoría moderna del desarrollo, el modelo cepalino de sustitución de importaciones, la teoría de la dependencia, las contribuciones de la contrarrevolución neoclásica y finalmente los postulados más recientes de la teoría, ligados especialmente con la profundización de las tesis neoclásicas, así como la irrupción de los temas ambientales y de sostenibilidad en las discusiones sobre el desarrollo
