Comportamiento y características del endeudamiento público del gobierno nacional central en la década de los noventa (1990-2001)

Abstract

Este documento analiza las la evolución y características más determinantes del endeudamiento del Gobierno Nacional Central (GNC) durante la década de los noventa del siglo pasado. Los aspectos centrales estudiados en el artículo hacen referencia a, los antecedentes de los cambios operados en materia de endeudamiento público principalmente lo acontecido en la década de los ochenta, la evolución y características específicas de la deuda interna y externa del Gobierno Nacional entre 1990 y 2001, un análisis retrospectivo sobre la sostenibilidad del endeudamiento del GNC en el período de referencia y, por último, se elaboran algunas conclusiones a partir de lo observado en el texto.
