Industrialización y desindustrialización de Argentina en la segunda mitad del siglo XX. La paradójica validez de las leyes de Kaldor-Verdoorn

Abstract

Este artículo aplica las leyes de Kaldor-Verdoorn a la industria argentina en el período 1945-2002, observando su capacidad de liderar la economía", los rendimientos crecientes y las ganancias de productividad. El marco conceptual y metodológico es el tratamiento econométrico de abordaje causación acumulativa. Se procesaron series de producto, productividad y ocupación para aplicar el método de cointegración de Engle y Granger.Los resultados indican que el cumplimiento de las leyes confirma el carácter trunco de la sustitución de importaciones y la reestructuración regresiva derivada de la experiencia "privatista" y "aperturista"."
