La innovación tecnológica desde una perspectiva evolutiva

Abstract

Este artículo analiza el proceso de innovación tecnológica desde laeconomía política, específicamente, desde la perspectiva evolutiva.Se adopta el enfoque schumpeteriano en el cual el proceso de innovacióntecnológica puede ser visto como un proceso de aprendizaje. Enese sentido, la innovación tecnológica representa un cambio en elconocimiento y, por ende, tiene un carácter epistemológico. Estaconceptualización, junto con el análisis histórico del proceso deinnovación tecnológica y su formalización, permite entender los cambiosque se han presentado en el proceso de innovación tecnológicadurante los últimos doscientos cincuenta anos.
