Las migraciones laborales en regiones de economía campesina : una propuesta metodológica para su estudio empírico

Abstract

Expone los principales elementos del enfoque metodológico utilizado para realizar un estudio de caso sobre dos regiones rurales colombianas expulsoras de fuerza de trabajo, en las cuales se mantienen formas campesinas de organización para la producción: la provincia de García Rovira en el departamento de Santander, y del bajo Ricaurte en el departamento de Boyacá, Se hace referencia a ejemplos concretos que ilustran la manera como la metodología propuesta permite identificar, con base en datos empíricos, un conjunto esencial de características estructurales de las regiones estudiadas sin cuyo conocimiento, no es posible entender por qué se da el fenómeno migratorio y cuales son sus elementos distintivos
