Abstract

Aborda dos temas, cuyo estudio requiere de un análisis detenido y de transformaciones. El primero se refiere a los resultados económicos alcanzados y a la veracidad de la imagen de éxito que ha pretendido difundir el gobierno chileno. El segundo se relaciona con la evolución futura de la economía, dentro del marco actual, y con la formulación de un esquema económico alternativo para sustentar un régimen democrático.La revisión de ambas temáticas debe fundarse en un enfoque interpretativo global que permita explorar la relación entre economía y política a fin de explicar los resultados alcanzados y la dinámica futura.
