Abstract

The present study aims to achieve a comprehensive review of existing patient-reported outcome measures used in headache disorders and migraine. We identified different instruments used by health care professionals and researchers in different situations with patients suffering from headache and migraine disorders such as assessment, management, quality of life, comorbidities, treatment/therapy. We also looked at the benefits of using these instruments, actual trends and measurement practices in developing new PROMs (Patient-reported outcome measures) as well as modern digital technologies (ePROMs, day-to-day tracking apps, online programs, mobile applications, smart portable devices) which facilitate data collection and analysis.
