Educación y valores en la sociedad, asunto de políticas públicas o construcción ciudadana

Abstract

El presente artículo discute la formación de valores en la política educativa y la participación ciudadana en el contexto mexicano. Se realiza un análisis crítico contrastando la normativa legal vigente y el desarrollo histórico vinculado. Se concluye que con independencia del tipo de valores o principios que se esté buscando inducir por medio de los programas educativos, existe otro conjunto de principios manifestados en las actividades cotidianas al interior de las aulas y espacios educativos, los cuales determinan en mayor medida los valores y las prácticas de convivencia social.
