Vers une régionalisation des échanges commerciaux en Europe centrale et orientale ?

Abstract

La desintegration brutale du CAEM et la signature des Accords europeens au debut des annees quatre-vingt-dix ont conduit les PECO a reorienter massivement leur commerce vers l’Union europeenne (UE), suscitant ainsi des inquietudes sur leur capacite a reorganiser un commerce regional dynamique. Qu’en etait-il à la veille de l’adhesion de ces pays à l’UE ? Cet article porte sur l’evolution du commerce intra-PECO de 1993 à 2001 et utilise des donnees desagregees. Les resultats montrent que depuis le milieu des annees quatre-vingt-dix, les echanges se structurent autour de trois sous-bassins, selon une logique de segmentation du processus de production au sein meme des PECO.
