TIC et productivite : une comparaison internationale

Abstract

Cet article propose une evaluation comptable de la croissance de la productivite horaire en comparaison internationale. Au niveau macro-economique, les resultats indiquent une contribution des TIC environ deux fois plus elevee dans les pays anglo-saxons qu'en France ou en Allemagne, alors que celle de la productivite globale des facteurs (PGF) est moins forte dans les premiers pays que dans les seconds sur la periode 1995-2001. Le secteur producteur de TIC enregistre des gains tres eleves dans tous les pays. En revanche, si la productivite (horaire et PGF) s'accroit dans le secteur tres utilisateur de TIC dans les pays anglo-saxons, notamment dans le commerce et la banque, sa croissance est negative en France sur la periode 1995-2001.
