Commerce international et incertitude sur la qualite des produits

Abstract

Ce texte aborde les questions de qualite et de securite des produits dans le contexte du commerce international. Les principaux resultats de la litterature sont exposes et quelques modelisations simples sont proposees pour illustrer des questions particulieres peu traitees dans la litterature. La premiere partie de ce texte est centree sur les effets de la liberalisation des echanges sur les conditions de concurrence et d’information. Une premiere modelisation aborde les effets de l’ouverture d’un pays sur les choix d’effort en qualite realises par les producteurs, dans un contexte d’information parfaite sur la qualite.
