Europäischer Bausektor zurück auf Expansionskurs, Ausgewählte Ergebnisse der EUROCONSTRUCT-Winterkonferenz 2024

Abstract

Nach zwei Rückgängen in Folge wird das europäische Bauvolumen im laufenden Jahr wieder zunehmen. Laut Einschätzung der EUROCONSTRUCT-Länderexperten dürfte der Anstieg mit 0,6% aber nur überschaubar ausfallen. Der Wohnungsbau, der sich in der jüngeren Vergangenheit einer größeren Marktkorrektur unterziehen musste, wird 2025 erneut schrumpfen, was allerdings einem Sondereffekt in einem großen Mitgliedsland geschuldet ist. Die Aussichten für das davon nicht betroffene Neubausegment bleiben vorerst gedämpft. Während der Nichtwohnhochbau in diesem Jahr in die Wachstumsspur zurückfinden wird, zeigt sich das größtenteils krisenresistente Tiefbausegment weiter im Aufwind, auch wenn die Dynamik bis 2027 stetig nachlassen dürfte.
