Klima- und Energiepolitik unverändert Kernherausforderungen der nächsten Legislaturperiode

Abstract

Die Bundesregierung steht auch in der kommenden Legislaturperiode vor vielfältigen und komplexen Herausforderungen in der Klima- und Energiepolitik. Bei CO2-Bepreisung, Infrastrukturausbau, Kohlenstoffmanagement, Anpassung an den Klimawandel und Verteilungsfragen sind langfristige Weichenstellungen notwendig, um die massiven Investitionen anzureizen, ohne die der Standort Deutschland und die gesellschaftliche Unterstützung für den Klimaschutz gefährdet sind. Ohne teils schmerzhafte Veränderungen wird dies nicht möglich sein. Finanzierungsfragen werden dabei auch in den kommenden Jahren eine wichtige Rolle spielen. Eine effiziente und verlässliche Klima- und Energiepolitik ist aus diesen Gründen wichtiger denn je.
