Industriestandort unter Druck: Baden-Württembergs Wirtschaft im Spannungsfeld konjunktureller Herausforderungen

Abstract

Die deutsche Wirtschaft steht aktuell stark unter Druck. Beim Blick auf die Entwicklung des Bruttoinlandsprodukts im ersten Halbjahr 2024 hält Baden-Württemberg im Bundesländervergleich die rote Laterne. Die Unternehmensinsolvenzen nehmen hier zu. Wie steht es um die Konjunktur in Baden-Württemberg? Wie wird sie sich in Zukunft entwickeln? Um Antworten auf diese Fragen zu finden, untersuchen wir die Wirtschaftsstruktur im Südwesten, die Entwicklung des Geschäftsklimas in Baden-Württemberg im Vergleich zu Deutschland und analysieren die Eignung des ifo Geschäftsklimas als Frühindikator. Zudem geben wir einen Ausblick auf die weitere Entwicklung anhand der Erwartungen baden-württembergischer Unternehmen.
