Green Finance, die EU-Taxonomie für nachhaltige Aktivitäten und der Klimaschutz: Eine wohlfahrtsökonomische Analyse

Abstract

Clemens Fuest und Volker Meier, ifo Institut, zeigen, dass Emissionshandelsrechte, bei einer sachgerechten Gestaltung, das weitaus bessere Instrument zur Senkung von Treibhausgasemissionen sind als staatliche Kapitallenkungsinstrumente, wie die EU-Taxonomie. Unter bestimmten Bedingungen könne es sogar in dem Land, das die Taxonomie einführt, zu höheren Emissionen kommen.
