Steuerung der Energiewende durch optimale Subventionen und Steuern für fluktuierende erneuerbare Energien und Speicher

Abstract

Die Kosten von Technologien zur Nutzung fluktuierender erneuerbarer Energien (EE) wie Windturbinen und Photovoltaik-Anlagen sind in den vergangenen 15 Jahren enorm gefallen. Waren solche Technologien anfangs nur durch substanzielle Subventionen für Firmen wirtschaftlich anzuwenden, sind sie jetzt nahe der Marktreife und haben gleichzeitig einen beträchtlichen Marktanteil erobert. Die Fluktuation der Verfügbarkeit von Wind und Sonne über das Jahr und über den Tag birgt ganz neue Herausforderungen, die durch den Weg hin zur CO2-Neutralität noch substanziell verstärkt werden. In dem Beitrag wird ein Elektrizitätssystem modelliert, in dem Wettbewerbsfirmen CO2-emittierende fossile Technologien, fluktuierende EE und Speicher nutzen.
