Abstract

Vor der Machtübernahme durch die Taliban gab es für Frauen große Fortschritte in der Schulbildung, vor allem im Grundschulbereich. Auch bei politischen Entscheidungsprozessen waren Frauen in den letzten Jahren vertreten. Seit Mitte August 2021 sind die Taliban wieder an der Macht. Was bedeutet das für die afghanischen Frauen und Mädchen?
