Bewerbungsunterstützung erhöht die Kita-Inanspruchnahme von Kindern aus bildungsferneren Familien

Abstract

Kinder aus bildungsferneren Familien profitieren besonders stark vom Besuch einer Kindertageseinrichtung (Kita), besuchen diese aber deutlich seltener. In der hier betrachteten Studie mit über 600 Familien mit Kindern unter drei Jahren erhalten die Eltern Informationen und ein personalisiertes Unterstützungsangebot für ihre Kita-Bewerbung. Diese Maßnahme erhöht die Bewerbungsquote und die Kita-Inanspruchnahme von bildungsferneren Familien deutlich. Auf bildungsnähere Familien hat die Maßnahme hingegen keine Auswirkungen.
