Messeabsagen verursachen hohe wirtschaftliche Einbußen

Abstract

Die Absagen fast aller Messeveranstaltungen führten zu gravierenden Umsatzeinbußen. Im Vergleich zu einem normalen Messejahr dürfte das durch die Ausgaben der Aussteller und Messebesucher induzierte Produktionsvolumen in diesem Jahr um rund 21 Mrd. Euro geringer ausfallen und das Steueraufkommen um rund 3,4 Mrd. Euro sinken. Die Messeabsagen werden zudem das Messebeteiligungsverhalten der Aussteller verändern. Rund 40% der Aussteller wollen sich an der einen oder anderen Messe nicht mehr beteiligen.
