Konjunkturumfragen im Fokus: Licht am Ende des Tunnels für die deutsche Wirtschaft

Abstract

Der ifo Geschäftsklimaindex Deutschland stieg im Juni deutlich von 79,7 Punkten auf 86,2 Punkte. Dies ist der stärkste jemals gemessene Anstieg – wenn auch auf weiterhin niedrigem Niveau. Vor allem die Geschäftserwartungen der Unternehmen für die kommenden Monate machten einen spürbaren Sprung nach oben. Die aktuelle Lage wurde etwas weniger negativ beurteilt als zuletzt. Unter anderem in einigen Sonderfragen zur Coronakrise zeigt sich jedoch, dass weite Teile der deutschen Wirtschaft auch weiterhin stark mit den Auswirkungen der Pandemie zu kämpfen haben. Vor allem die Reisebranche und das Gastgewerbe sind weiterhin stark betroffen, ein großer Teil der Betriebe hat sogar ein existenzbedrohendes Niveau erreicht. Auch im Verarbeitenden Gewerbe wirkt sich die geringe Nachfrage auf dem Inlandsmarkt und bei den Exporten in vielen Sparten – allen voran in der Automobilherstellung – erheblich negativ auf die Geschäfte aus.
