Deutsche Industrie: Anhaltende Investitionsbereitschaft

Abstract

Nach den aktuellen Ergebnissen der ifo Investitionsumfrage wollen die Unternehmen des deutschen Verarbeitenden Gewerbes 2019 ihre Investitionen in neue Maschinen und Bauten um nominal knapp 11% erhöhen. Für das Jahr 2018 ergaben die Meldungen der Befragungsteilnehmer einen Anstieg von knapp 7%. Damit blieb die Investitionsentwicklung im Verarbeitenden Gewerbe 2018 hinter der ursprünglichen Planung zurück. Erweiterungs­investitionen und Investitionen in Ersatzbeschaffungen dominieren 2018 und 2019. In diesem Jahr sind je knapp ein Drittel der Sachanlageinvestitionen den beiden Investitionsmotiven zuzuordnen. Rationalisierungsmaßnahmen spielen mit einem Anteil von rund einem Neuntel im Vergleich zu den 1990er Jahren nur noch eine untergeordnete Rolle.
