Abstract

Kein anderer fossiler Energieträger ist in den letzten Jahren im Verbrauch weltweit stärker gewachsen als Kohle. Der Beitrag dokumentiert die wichtigsten Entwicklungen der letzten Jahre im Hinblick auf Verbrauch, Produktion und Handel von Kohle und gibt einen Ausblick auf den zukünftigen Kohlekonsum bis zum Jahr 2040.
